if you doubt him and he succeeds:
him: i told you.
you feel bad.

if you believe in him and he succeeds:
both of you just feels good.

but those three instances has nothing when compared to when you believe in him and he fails:
you: well, at least you tried.
him: well, at least you believed in me.
